Contrary to what i have always believed, it seems that in communication, body language is the most powerful tool. 55% of communication is in the form of body language, 38% in tone and a merely 7% comes from words we speak. Its amazing isn't it?
We had our fun share of presentations on that day, alongside with press conferences, interview sessions. The main focus was using expressions to communicate our ideas. Acknowledge the audiences by giving them eye contact and be versatile and responsive to their body language as well. Communication is not just about blabbering all the information out during presentation, is ensuring the idea gets to the audiences and that they understand it. And by all means, be animated and expressive during presentations, but not to the extent of doing a Bollywood dance in the midst of presentation!
